Success! Just tried an MT WSSE authentication on an unmodified SVN version of MT. The next release of MT will work perfectly for Atom importing.

I believe I have figured out the issue with WSSE authentication in MT. Have found the troublesome line and correcting it results in returned posts to the importer. Unfortunately, it looks like the issue is something MT has to fix, and I can’t work around.

Learning to despise Movable Type. Every time I look Movable Type stops working on me. Thankfully once I get this importer working, it will be so much easier to switch to WordPress.
