Something changed on TypePad’s servers today. Just imported 100 posts in under 30 seconds. Crossing my fingers this performance is here to stay.

Feeling very confident today I can improve the performance of the AtomPub importer more. I’m writing some performance enhancing code that’s looking promising.

Importing entries into WordPress is a go. Only pages remain and all AtomPub content will be imported.

AtomPub parsing is complete! I have the posts and comments in a nice tidy array ready for importing into WordPress. Next up, start writing the actual import code.
