Hmm, looking deeper into this change, a lot has been broken. Comments no longer importing, slugs no longer copying over, trackbacks completely borked. Looks like I got some work to do.

Just added the changes. With the new changes it takes about 5 seconds to import 20 posts. Much better than the 1-2 minute times seen earlier in the summer.

Very odd. Was about to send the diff off to Trac when I noticed TypePad completely changed their Atom feed. They added support for the features we wanted, but this will take a bit to implement. Working on it now…

Success! Just tried an MT WSSE authentication on an unmodified SVN version of MT. The next release of MT will work perfectly for Atom importing.

I believe I have figured out the issue with WSSE authentication in MT. Have found the troublesome line and correcting it results in returned posts to the importer. Unfortunately, it looks like the issue is something MT has to fix, and I can’t work around. :-(
